Hi all!
Since the upgrade to newest xorg release my lcd is flickering. it seems
that the intel-driver is using a 30hz-mode.
i have tried many things but can not get it to stop flickering...
(maybe my headache is just preventing me from thinking clear...? )
Attached are xorg.conf and xorg-logfile.
since i used "preferredmode" in the monitor section xrandr is giving me
this output:
SZ: Pixels Physical Refresh
*0 1400 x 1050 ( 370mm x 277mm ) *75 30 60
1 1280 x 1024 ( 370mm x 277mm ) 85 75 60
2 1280 x 960 ( 370mm x 277mm ) 85 60
3 1152 x 864 ( 370mm x 277mm ) 75
4 1152 x 768 ( 370mm x 277mm ) 55
5 1024 x 768 ( 370mm x 277mm ) 85 75 70 60
6 832 x 624 ( 370mm x 277mm ) 75
7 800 x 600 ( 370mm x 277mm ) 85 72 75 60 56
8 640 x 480 ( 370mm x 277mm ) 85 73 75 60
9 720 x 400 ( 370mm x 277mm ) 85
10 640 x 400 ( 370mm x 277mm ) 85
11 640 x 350 ( 370mm x 277mm ) 85
Current rotation - normal
Current reflection - none
Rotations possible - normal left inverted right
Reflections possible - none
but it seems it isnt using the 75hz mode, but the 30 hz! :(
without preferredmode the "*" is at the Refresh 30...
im using current gentoo version of all software...
greets,
Florian
