xf86ReadBIOS with visualPrivates problem

Hi, In functionint xf86ReadBIOS(unsigned long Base, unsigned long Offset, unsigned char *Buf, int Len) will call mmap, before mmap /dev/mem, we cannot get the value of *visualPrivates, but after this operation should get the value, but i still get this value in my 64-bit system, what's the problem? and where is the variable visualPrivates initialized? And I use S3 driver in my local machine. ThanksJeff
