Help enabling sub-pixel order on Mac. Seeing sub-pixel order Unknown.

fonts.conf is used by fontconfig, not Xorg nor xdpyinfo.
(If you're running from MacPorts, aren't you actually using Xquartz instead of
  Xorg anyway?)
