The seek-past-the-end-of-file thingy is fixed in CVS now.

I can reproduce the issue with rhythmbox, doing the following in rhythmbox:

 - play Symphony1 from above for a few seconds
 - play another song for a few seconds
 - play Symphony1 again (nothing happens, no sound, cpu @ 100% for a few
seconds )

what happens is in fact exactly the same as what happens with musepackdec (in
combination with ID3/APE tags) - the decoder produces samples, fills the queue
and then gets a not-linked flow return when pushing (only that flac doesn't
stop on not-linked it appears).
