By the way, the reverting of tags in rhythmbox happens also with using
gstreamer 0.10 and patch on bug #309609 against rhythmbox for using the new
id3mux plugin from gst-plugins-ugly 0.10.1.   (id3mux appears to still be based
on libid3tag, so it doesn't seem to be fixed in 0.10).

Has *anybody* got working tag-writing with *any* app using *any* version of
gstreamer?  I can't find any other programs to test this with.
