... also, I've disabled a few plugins "out of the box" while I'm trying to
solve build problems for them.

I have also added options to enable them if you want.  if you run
./configure --enable-broken, for example, you can enable building of the
broken plugins.  experimental works as well, and I moved mikmod to that ;)
Until we get it to behave nicely with the others.

Any suggestions on this are welcome.
