HAL 0.5.8.1 and linux_dvd_rw_utils.o make error

Hi there!

I'm trying to compile HAL 0.5.8.1 for VectorLinux 5.8 (Slackware11 based
distro)
I have updated my kernel headers, so the configure goes fine, and the build
process works ok for a while, but then fails. Here is the full output:

Am I lacking some cd or dvd writing library/utility?
