Hi all,

Here's a list of 3 issues that popped up in Gentoo in the past few days.

1) .901 works fine on my laptop (HP pavilion with an 855GM) but .902 
fails really badly.

As soon as the VT switch happens (when launching gdm) the screen goes 
black (but really black, no backlight) and the machine locks up. Hard 
reboot and so on. I'll try to bisect it to figure out what went wrong 
between the 2 RCs. Pointers appreciated though.

2) .901 doesn't build properly on xserver-1.3, but builds fine with 
1.4.0.90. I don't mind upping the dep in Gentoo though, that's up to

3) 2.2.1 (possibly newer versions too) may require glproto but it's not 
explicitly written in configure.ac and I'm not really sure where to put
