To back GNome hates gnomebaker. The only reason people use it is because
it is really the only other thing besides k3b and nero that is an suite
of cd tools. There are applications like Rhythmbox and nautilus-cd-burn
that do very basic audio/data burning. My project, the Coaster project,
is the prodigy (or at least most call it that) that will become
mainstream Gnome material. I know Ubuntu wishes to use Coaster as the
default burner, and since I maintain the libburn and coaster packages in
both Debian and Ubuntu, I think libburn has a very good chance to go
mainstream. We just need more people involved in libburn and coaster to
make this happen, else all the pieces are in place for domination.
