Even if X reports the correct XvMC initialization I can't get it working:

Mplayer and Xine report
"X11 error: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)" resp.
"received X error event: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)"
Mplayer crashes with signal 6 in module decode_video and the xine window
displays a mainly green screen which becomes distorted in the top quarter
and sometimes you can see a part of a 'correct' (still in green colors)
decoded frame or similar.

I build these packages from recent cvs (20051201) which did not solve the
problem:
- mplayer
  (incl. the patch from http://www.openchrome.org/snapshots/mplayer/)
- xine-lib
- the openchrome modular-branch xf86-video-via drivers
  (incl. the path from https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4720)
- drm.ko/via.ko
- libXv

I also tried to build libXvMC from cvs but it does not contain libXvMCW
anymore (or is it in a separate project?) which seems to be required to
build xine/mplayer with XvMC support - at least the configure script wants
to link to it.

What did I miss?

Thanks & Regards
