It appears your X server doesn't want to create shared memory XvImages. 
Does it have the MIT-SHM extension?

Check with xdpyinfo.

Does xine -V xv run?

libXvMCW should get built by the modular Xorg modular source lib/XvMC. 
At least mine did right now from CVS.
