[pulseaudio-discuss] Pulseaudio runs as mpd user after login

you can try :
echo "autospawn=no" >> ~/.pulse/client.conf
pulseaudio will not start automatically now,

I have not tried this but hope this works.
and may be Colin can give you better suggestion.
