[SCIM] help: scim 0.9.3 on whitebox linux

Hello scim users and Mr SU:

I use scim 0.9.3 on whitebox linux 3.0.

I downloaded and installed scim-0.9.3-1.i586.rpm & scim-chinese-0.2.7-1.i586.rpm.

Installation seem ok,run "scim -d" seem ok too.
I can see the scim-panel-gtk icon.
But when press control+blank nothing happen.
No Chinese input.

[oracle at ora22 scim]$ scim -l
Smart Common Input Method 0.9.3

Available FrontEnd module:
    x11

Available Config module:
    simple
    dummy

Available Server module:
    pinyin
    rawcode
    table

ENV:
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
I use gnome.
