Hi James,

I've just compiled scim and scim-chinese from cvs head, and it seems to
be work well for me. I can also confirm the issue chaisave at linuxsir.org
raised up:

    $ ldd pinyin.so
        libscim-0.99.0 => /home/minghua/scim/lib/libscim-0.99.0 (0x40083000)
        libscim-0.9.so.0 => /usr/lib/libscim-0.9.so.0 (0x400d2000)
        libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0x40117000)
        libstdc++.so.5 => /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5 (0x4011a000)
        libm.so.6 => /lib/libm.so.6 (0x401d3000)
        libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x401f5000)
        libgcc_s.so.1 => /lib/libgcc_s.so.1 (0x40328000)
        /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x80000000)

I have both the stable version (scim 0.9.6, scim-chinese 0.3.0, in
/usr/lib) and the cvs head (in /home/minghua/scim/lib) installed, so it
didn't cause any problem for me (but it definitely look like a bug).

I didn't have the automake error chaisave reported, most likely because
I have automake 1.7.9 installed.

Also, I've confirmed that Cougar's fix for scim-chinese on the pre-edit
area caret postition bug works fine.

Thanks,
Ming
