Hello,

I have some questions about the scim-japanese module. Tried to compile it
today, because the japanese student said again she can do nothing with the
three other methods. ;((
When I checkout scim-japanese from CVS I have to run '$ ./bootstrap' first,
or? I get some error messages and also cannot run '$ ./configure' afterwards.
The first error I got was: 'aclocal: configure.ac: 72: macro
`AM_GCONF_SOURCE_2' not found in library' Well, but I also got some other
undefined macro errors. Is gconf required to compile scim-japanese? *hmmmm*
Is this what you meant with not finished yet? What kind of development must
this input method have? Is it much knowledge about Canna, or more just
program functions, etc?

The CVS instructions on savannah.nongnu.org are wrong I think. The module scim
doesn't exists anymore and so on. :o)

Did you forget to write a note to the ML about the 0.9.7 release? ;o) Was bit
surprised to see it today on the homepage, but not here before *gg*

Regards,
Klaus
