that's somewhat difficult as telepathy-sofiasip depends on various more 
recent additions/changes to Telepathy. So probably not impossible, but 
won't be easy I'm afraid...

The SIP stack used by telepathy-sofiasip (and one some very basic clients)
have been available for 770 already:
