Work is on the way. The specification work is almost done and the GNOME
implementation is already on its way (probably making it into 3.0 next
summer/fall iirc). KDE (me) is a little behind but I've made plans to start
implementing the spec around christmas. On the Mozilla side we've seen some
interest for implementing the client parts but afaik there's isn't someone
working on it. We've gotten some pointers on where to start implementing it
once the daemon is up and running though.

If you want to help, just drop me a note so we could organize/manage efforts.

Regards,
Michael
