OK, I have changed the subject as it was getting a bit hard to follow,
not to mention, wasn't even still on topic :)

i ran nmap -sU localhost -p 1-6000

So, i am THINKING it *should* be working, but for whatever reason, its
not pointing to that other address, so the port seems to be open, dunno
where to go from here.
