Hey, that's fantastic. I'm glad to know that the improvements that
have been made recently have had this kind of application-visible
impact. Well done to everyone involved, (specifically not me---I
haven't made much contribution to performance lately).

Yes, that's really the "one big bug" that's in cairo 1.0. There are a
few other bugs that show up as expected failures in the test suite,
but they're almost all in the off-by-one-pixel realm, and not
something clearly just broken like missing-dashes-on-curves is. I had
really wanted to fix this one before the 1.0 release, but I just
couldn't get it done in time.

Thanks. You've certainly given me some extra motivation to fix this
bug. (I know that dia wants this bug fix quite a lot too, right
Hans?).
