I don't think it works ...
- cairo_set_alpha (cr, opaque ? 1 : 0.8);
+ cairo_set_source_rgba (cr, 1, 1, 1, opaque ? 1 : 0.8);
cairo_show_surface (cr, temp_surface, width, height);
needs to use some not-yet-landed (but soon to land):
cairo_set_source_surface (cr, temp_surface, 0, 0);
cairo_paint_with_alpha (cr, opaque ? 1 : 0.8);
