[cairo] Error Loading FreeType Glyphs

Does anyone have any plans on adding David Turners patches soon? It would be quite useful to be able to separate FreeType from the fontconfig stuff, especially considering the fact that FreeType works on pretty much any platform and fontconfig does not (i.e. Win32).
