I like using standardized image file formats and I'm really looking
forward to Gimp 2.2 which will support for Patterns in PNG/JPEG format
and now gradients in SVG format (in fact it will support any file
that GDKpixbuf supports so if i format my SVG pattern files correctly and
make sure to have librsvg installed I'll be able to SVG Patterns too).

Much as I'd like to I cannot take any credit,
all I did was make yet another request
(many of which are summarily dismissed).

Sven deserves credit. Say thanks to him if you have not already, a mail
to one of the Gimp lists might be appropropriate.

I guess I shouldn't have mentioned it on advogato if i wanted to be the
one to tell people first :)

Sincerely
