Until David has completed the "proper" multiscreen stuff. The Quinn CVS
version of compiz has Xinerama support provided your underlying Xgl also
has the Xinerama patches. See http://www.compiz.net/ for more info and
also links to Ubuntu/Deb versions handily prebuilt for you.
These are stop gaps for people who can't live without multi-screen
support until it's done properly :)
Although I've not looked at the code itself, hopefully the multi-screen
stuff in Quinn CVS's compiz is somewhat generic and will also work if
the relevent xinerama routines are replaced with the correct
multi-screen routines once they are implemented in Xgl then a good
proportion of the compiz related development may have already been done
for you David? (fingers crossed - tho' extracting the relevent code may
be more hassle than it's worth!!).
