[compiz] update on xdevconf07 and beryl situation

Thanks for keeping us updated on the evolution of the project, can't
wait to see your vision of 3D Desktop Linux turn into reality.

I'm sure people appreciate the work you and everybody involved are
doing. Also, beryl devs are not blind: there has been some initial
discussion lately about the possibility to come back and join forces to
help grow the original project.
