[compiz] improving opengl app perfomance

Hello,
I have found this thread in the beryl forums:

it seems that the benchmark plugin almost eliminates the overhead 
created by compiz/beryl for opengl apps.
unredirect_fullscreenwindows seems only to work on xgl [1] can something 
similar be added to compiz core to improve the perfomance of opengl apps 
running ontop of compiz?
