Novell is of course is very interested in Compiz as founder of the
project, it is also one of the important part of Nomad[1], which is in
SUSE Linux Enterprise 11(SLE11). Enterprise products are supported for
a long term (upto 7 years), so compiz will also be supported for that
long, that would obviously include paid devs working on it.

It would be interesting to see what David R thinks about the future of
the project, he has said that he would have a bit of time to reply
this week.
