[ConsoleKit] freebsd: can't get an active session

hello list!
i'm a freebsd and kde user. when, some weeks ago, i installed consolekit 
(0.3.0) for the first time, i've started having some problems with kde 
components. the most noticeable error messages are (when kdm logins into 
kde):

i've tried ck-launch-session both in kde and in a console, but they still have 
active = FALSE. the only difference is that the console session has display-
device = 'ttyv0' instead of ' ? '
attached you can find my /var/log/ConsoleKit/history
by the way, our consolekit port has some patches here... i don't know if 
they've been integrated in 0.3.1, anyway you can find them here: 
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/ports/sysutils/consolekit/files/

i've already asked this to kde developers, and they pointed me to your list, 
since they say that consolekit is quite different on different operating 
systems
i'm obviously not the only one with this problem, so it would be nice to fix 
it. what should i look for? i could i help? i'm not simply asking to you to 
find a solution... i just don't know where to start from...
