Peter,

I don't know you and I don't know where you are coming from. I do
respect your opinion that you don't feel represented by the ink-splash.

I've been asked for feedback about the proposed logo and website [0]:

"We're looking forward to hear your response/suggestions/improvements"

I've given it [1].

I have not asked for critique of the ink splash, which BTW, in case you
followed the discussion, I have no particular attachment to. I don't
even know who created it (and if I knew I would say thank you to them).

I felt represented by the early logos. Each and every one of them. And I
find your statement offensive and completely gratuitous. It only
increases my aversion to square heads.

My initial post to this thread was pretty clear, and others have stated
pretty much similar things. Draft mockup attached. Where is yours?

Sorry, I don't see the necessity of such a dependency, which I actually
find detrimental to the continuity of the initiative (and by initiative
I mean the strategic goal of the meetings on a global scale, not a
little local satisfaction).

But don't let my personal opinion drive you off *your* track. "I" am
just an individual. The beauty of free communities is that everybody is
free to join and free to leave and there are no mandated dependencies.

You seem to know where you're going. Go for it. With my blessing. It
will surely be better than what I would do. Clear text: nothing. Already
the creation of the attached mockup and this writing is stolen from time
I should devote to other priorities.

5 years and a new logo every second year? maybe it is time to review the
priorities? what is the purpose of these meetings? is there a more
efficient way to achieve the goals?

Yuv (bailing out - I just don't see a place or a future for me here at
this point)
