What is this?

It's a print edition of the complete LGM program found online at
<http://libregraphicsmeeting.org/2013/program/>, with some blank space
for your notes, and some useful maps of Madrid, courtesy
OpenStreetMap. It's in pocket book format, 172 pages, so you can
easily carry it with you during the four days of LGM.
The book design has begun on Sunday 17th March and finished 24 hours later.
It was made with Scribus, and features the libre fonts Chivo, by
Hector Gatti and Igino Marin; Volkhov (by Ivan Petrov and Alexei
Vanyashin); and Karla (by Jonny Pinhorn).
It was produced spontaneously, following the "release early, release
often" dogma, and there will be some mistakes (we apologize for having
misspelt the font "Volkhov" as "Vokhov" on page 171).
The printing is done "on demand" through the Amazon CreateSpace
service. The revenue is kept at zero, the price of the book (EUR 4,40
- 4,76 depending where you order) just covers the printing.

Why?

This book was inspired by James Bridle's publishing experiments (SXSW
2010 [Fieldnotes]), visible at booktwo.org. It's intended to serve as
"a one-time pad", a personal notebook for the duration of LGM.
