[CREATE] an interesting development?

I guess this is not *that* interesting from a blender perspective unless
you :
a- don't care about using non free software
b- wanted to use prman all along but couldn't afford the license
c- are not going to use it for commercial things or:
d- will buy the now much cheaper license

Other than that- I suspect this move from Pixar is actually to try to
save prmans marketshare from dwindling, as there are several other
renderers + in house solutions that are taking over. Vray, Arnold both
come to mind.

There is no source code release with this and I doubt it is actually
very useful from dev standpoint.

As read before other releases from Pixar/Disney have been much more
interesting (FLOSS releases like the afformentioned OpenSubdiv which is
currently being integrated and that I'm quite hyped about)
