auto activation default

Hi,

Should auto activation be the default for method calls? It seems like it
would be a lot more convenient, since you'd never have to explicitly
activate anything. It would make most services have race-free "respawn
after crash" behavior, which is probably right, though of course it can
be scary if something is crashing on startup. We can deal with that
separately, rate-limit the respawns or something, that's what gnome-
session does.
