Debian experimental has up to date D-Bus. Add something like this:
  deb ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian ../project/experimental main
To /etc/apt/sources.list, and then run:
 apt-get -t experimental install dbus

It will need to upgrade some other stuff because of the API change, and
some things that have not been built against the new D-Bus might be removed.
