hal and dbus documentation

Hi John,

I've read pages referred to, but they don't seem to tell me what I'm 
looking for. That or perhaps I'm not taking enough time over them.

However, yes, the hal mailing list is probably the best place to 
continue with my enquiry. I forgot about them having a separate list.
