 From my perspective, this would be another binding built on libdbus. It 
wouldn't go in libdbus itself because people using GLib or Qt or Java 
would not want to use some weird dbus-specific system, they want to use 
GObject and QObject and java.lang.Object.

I don't know of anyone with plans to work on a pure C high-level API, 
but of course anyone is more than welcome to be the first!
