Remind of the schedule for 1.0 and 1.1? Personally I'm not sure it
should go into 1.0 either but...

... looking at the test suite it looks very comprehensive and have
helped me find many bugs. Probably the right thing is to put it in right
after 1.0 ships but I don't pretend to know what Havoc wants here.

Certainly the patch is (or, at least, can be) done in a way that's
compatible with 1.0 (e.g. presence of User key).

I think it may be beneficial to get it into releases very soon so other
projects can start using it. Certainly things like PolicyKit wants this.
