I've been trying to refresh my mind on this issue and what happened with it. Unfortunately I don't think I really made any progress at all I still get the limits exceeded fault returned after I've been running for a while..
 
I get the exception thrown by a Python application which is connecting to a service on the bus. From memory the issue did appear to be occurring when I tried to connect to signals on the object.
 
I should probably say though that the dbus service I'm connecting to is still in development so I cant vouch for how stable it is, however, if you've seen other people having the same problems then perhaps there is a problem with the daemon.
 
If there is anything I can do to help this than please do let me know.
