Not able to launch DBus daemon on DaVinci

Hi All,
         I have installed DBus 1.2.3 on a DaVinci board. On trying to launch the DBus daemon using either dbus-launch or dbus-daemon I gt the following error :

         # dbus-daemon --session
         Failed to start message bus : Unknown error 1073839232

         # dbus-launch
         Failed to start message bus : Unknown error 1073839232
         EOF in dbus-launch reading address from bus daemon

         Has anyone faced the same issue?
