Hi,

I'm also trying to install d-bus on minix as it's a prerequisite for ede2.0b and 
I'm having the same problem. I think though we have GNU binutils we don't have 
libbfd (BFD, the Binary File Descriptor library) which is being used by most of 
the tools in binutils to do low-level manipulation. Many of them also use the 
opcodes library to assemble and disassemble machine instructions so we might end 
up needing that as well in the end.
