Loosing signal while reading bus systems under C

This is really a problem for me. I'm using a linux embed system of 600 Mhz, 
so I have to reduce the signal frequency of my datas.
But, Is this really a limit? the loosing signals aren't problem of my 
reveive method? as I said, I can see the signals with dbus-monitor utility.

Is there anyone who has experience with the use of dbus with high signals 
frequency?
