I don't have a better proposal, but one controversial issue with dbus
activation right now is that it doesn't preserve the login uid of the
client initiating the activation, which is a big deal for certain
groups of people who want a proper trail in their auditd logs.

In theory if this was handled on the kernel side it could set the
login uid properly on the activated process instead of using the login
uid of the bus daemon.
