Would you mind also testing a KDE 4 session and starting and quitting some
apps? Please make sure you're using a recent version, since that one also uses
D-Bus for the system tray icons.
All applications in KDE connect to D-Bus, so this should prove to be a stress-
test for your code. Not to mention that you test a different binding's
behaviour (QtDBus).
KDE has had a number of issues with D-Bus, to the point that some apps simply
can't use D-Bus 1.2. All distributions are being urged to upgrade to 1.4 as
soon as possible. (Threading bugs fixed in the lib)
