Thanks for the clarification. The remaining question is, whether libgio
is as distributed as libdbus. Emacs shall be usable also for older
systems, and Emacs won't bring it's own copy of libgio.
Likely, we need a soft migration approach: write Lisp bindings based on
libgio, but use the existing Lisp bindings on systems which haven't
installed libgio. At least for a while, a transition period.
