dbus query

Hi,
I recently downloaded dbus-1.6.12 to check out the test applications
provided. Searching through I came across the header file "dbus-mainloop.h".
My dificulty is I was not able to find the header file on my Ubuntu
12.04 LTS which has a dbus already running.
I wanted to know how can I run the mainloop if I dont have the
"dbus-mainloop.h" header file included.
please help me through...and I am using the dbus low level apis.
