It will work with no porting, but it will suffer from the transmarshalling and 
the context switches necessary by the proxy daemon.

To gain better performance, we'll need to write the code to deal with kdbus 
devices directly in QtDBus, without losing the ability to connect to non-kdbus 
D-Bus connections. That's a couple man-months' of work there.
