FWIW, I've not have time to invest in net-dbus for a long time now.
There are some people who are using it as I occassionally get bugs
and emails about it.

I would be happy to hand it off to anyone else who has a desire to
be a more active maintainer, and if doing that it might make sense
to put the GIT repo on freedesktop alongside other dbus repos.
Failing that though, I'm happy to just leave it idle under my 
gitorious.org account forever.
