I think offline is a nice feature, but limiting our design to fully 
support offline is like previous designs that assumed that web browsers 
were limited.

Nowadays, for the use-case we are pursuing, it is hard to imagine a 
computer to be useful at all without a connection. I think it would be 
better that we not FAIL miserably if there is no network, but that we 
design the system for a connected computer.

This could mean, put the minimal info in appdata.xml so that we can 
display a useful entry. Leave the rest to OCS. We may do hacks like once 
we get nice descriptions from OCS we immediately index it in Xapian, to 
improve offline searches, for example.
