Can you try to use the existing
arch/arm/boot/dts/imx6qdl-wandboard.dtsi instead?

I don't have access to a imx6qp wandboard and don't know the hardware
changes that would justify a different dtsi.

Anyway, I would start with the existing dtsi in mainline and then make
the adjustments inside the imx6qp-wandboard.dts if needed.

It would also be nice if you could submit the dts changes upstream.
