Its pretty much empty, so its not that painful to change anyway.

Yes, its the official repo. Although i keep my github one up2date:

If we're breaking everything, why not. However, gnome is currently
using this API (for the control-center geoclue permissions storage). We
could just make it listen to both names though.

That breaks all existing installations though. That might not be to
many atm though, so maybe not a huge issue.
