external media / flatpakrc

Although I finally found this mail exchange, I was still wondering if
it would be a good idea to add e.g. a --filesystem=external option that
allows access and writing permissions to the locations /mnt, /media and
/run/media and possibly other "universal/standard" external mount
locations to provide for 90% of the cases of externally mounted drives.
Or should the app developers better inform about the override option
(and should this option be more explicitly be suggested in the flatpak
documentation)? Personally I installed zotero from flathub which I
figured was not usable. It took me quite a while before I found this
mail exchange (or any other info about the override option)...
