Yes, I agree. I did compare the repository version of GIMP and the
Flatpak version, just for their download/space requirements, but I'm
not sure if it's a fair comparison:

GIMP 2.8.22	Download/Installed: 11.5 MB/61.2 MB
GIMP 2.10.6	Download/Installed: 73.0 MB/201.9 MB
